The processing of personal data is governed by the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP). For visitors from the European Economic Area, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) also applies.
When you access our website, our hosting provider automatically collects data transmitted by your browser, including your IP address, the date and time of access, the page accessed, the referrer URL and information about your browser and operating system. This data is used for the secure and stable operation of the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in proper operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Hosting: cyon AG, Basel. A data-processing agreement is in place with the provider.
We use technically necessary storage so the website works – in particular to store your cookie choice (in your browser's local storage under nlx_consent_v1) as well as for language selection and security. This storage is required for operation and does not need consent.
Cookies and comparable technologies for statistics are only set with your explicit consent via our cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via Cookie settings.
Through the cookie banner we use Google Consent Mode to control whether tags may collect data. Until you consent, statistics storage is disabled (analytics_storage = denied). It is only enabled with your consent.
We use Google Tag Manager, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Tag Manager itself does not set cookies but manages other tags. Statistics and analytics tags are only executed if you have consented (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR / Art. 31 revFADP). Data may be transmitted to Google in the process.
If you load Google Analytics or advertising tags via Tag Manager, add the specific services, their purpose, the data processed and the retention period here.
For a consistent appearance, this website loads fonts from Google (Google Fonts) via Google servers. Your IP address is transmitted to Google in the process. If you wish to avoid this, the fonts can also be embedded locally (self-hosted).
If you use our contact form or the test-user sign-up form, you transmit the information you enter (e.g. name, email address and message) to us – via our interface (api.neurolexi.ch). We process this data solely to respond to your enquiry or to handle your sign-up as a test user. The legal basis is your consent or the initiation/performance of a contractual relationship (Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR).
Our website contains links to external sites (e.g. LinkedIn, FHNW). When clicked, you are taken to the respective providers' sites, for whose data processing we are not responsible.
We only share data where necessary for the purposes stated – in particular with our hosting provider and, where consent has been given, with Google. Corresponding agreements are in place with processors.
When using Google services, data may be transferred to the USA. Such transfers are based on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the respective purposes or as required by statutory retention obligations. Your cookie choice is stored for up to 180 days and then requested again.
Within the scope of applicable law, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing. You can withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future. To do so, contact info@neurolexi.ch.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority – in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), in the EEA the data protection authority responsible for you.
